Frequently Asked Questions

What is Reiki?

Reiki is universal life force energy or chi. Everything in the entire Univeres carries a frequency or a vibration with it. Your energy or vibration is what defines who you are. We all vibrate at a different frequency or level. When you have experienced stress or trauma in your life, even something as simple as a cold, your life force energy or your chi will be affected. Reiki helps to uplift this frequency and clear out any blocked energy pathways and allows you an energetic reset in frequency and an uplifting in vibration.

Why should I come for Reiki?

Have you ever heard the quote by Nickola Tesla, “If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” We as living beings all carry a vibration, a frequency with us. When your vibration is low you may feel tired, lethargic, unmotivated and that is because your life force energy or your chi is vibrating low. But when your vibration is high then you feel awake, motivated, positive and full of life.

There are many things in this life that can have either a positive or negative impact on our vibration. For example the food we eat, the content we consume, the music we listen to, the words we speak. These all carry a vibration/frequency as well. So depending on what we are doing or consuming in our daily lives that either higher or lowers our own vibration. Reiki helps to clear out some of the negative energy and replaces it with positive uplifting energy which is channeled through the practitioner. At the end of a Reiki session clients will usually say they feel lighter. That is because they are lighter in vibration!

How often should someone come for Reiki?

How often someone should receive Reiki really depends on their intention and what’s happening in their life, body, and energy field.

If someone is going through a period of stress, emotional heaviness, physical illness, or big life changes, receiving Reiki more frequently—once a week or even a few times a week—can be deeply supportive. During these times, the energy helps clear blocks, restore balance, and hold a gentle, nurturing space for transformation.

For general well-being and energetic maintenance, once every 3–4 weeks is a beautiful rhythm. It’s like energetic hygiene—keeping your system clear, grounded, and in tune with your intuition.

Some people tune in seasonally, using Reiki to align with transitions—at the start of a new season, on a birthday, or around meaningful shifts in life. Others come only when they feel called, guided by their inner knowing.

Ultimately, Reiki meets you where you are—there’s no rigid schedule. Just a soft invitation to return to yourself, again and again.

What is Reflexology and what are the benefits of having a Reflexology session done?

Reflexology is an ancient practice dating back to 2,500 BC where Egyptian papyrus scenes are depicted on the walls of tombs where medical practitioners are treating the hands and feet of their patients. Reflexology is a focused pressure that is applied to zones and reflexes on the feet which correspond to all parts, glands and organs of the body. Reflexology helps to stimulate different reflexes in the body that work in along with the nervous system to clear out any physical blockages. Reflexology also helps with the removal of stress, enhanced circulation within the body and detoxification. It also works well in conjunction with other healing modalities.

How often should someone come for Reflexology?

How often someone should receive reflexology depends on what they’re seeking. For those dealing with chronic conditions, tension, or specific imbalances, coming once a week or every 4–5 days for a few sessions in a row can help build momentum and support deeper healing.

For stress relief, grounding, and general wellness, a rhythm of once every 2–4 weeks is often ideal. It helps maintain balance, supports circulation, calms the nervous system, and gives the body space to reset—like a tune-up for the whole system.

Some people come in with the seasons, or when they’re feeling emotionally or energetically off, trusting their body’s signals. Reflexology is gentle but powerful—it works deeply without force, encouraging the body to do what it naturally knows how to do: heal.

Ultimately, it’s about tuning into your own rhythm.

Is Reflexology covered under health benefits?

Reflexology may be covered under some benefit companies. Please check with individual benefit companies.

What is Sound Healing?

Sound healing is the gentle art of returning the body, mind, and spirit to their natural state of harmony through the language of vibration.

It’s the ancient remembering that everything in existence has a frequency—that our cells hum, our hearts beat in rhythm, and our emotions echo in tones. When we are out of balance, it's not just a feeling—it’s a dissonance, a detuning of our natural song.

In a sound healing session, whether through the deep resonance of a gong, the crystalline clarity of singing bowls, the sacred drone of a didgeridoo, or the simple tone of a human voice, the body is bathed in waves of vibration. These sounds don’t just pass through us—they speak to us. They soothe the nervous system, release stuck energy, and invite silence into the spaces where noise once lived.

Sound becomes medicine. It bypasses the mind and goes straight to the soul, reminding it of its wholeness.

What is the difference between Divine Guidance and Mediumship?

Mediumship and divine guidance are the sacred arts of listening beyond the veil—of opening the heart and spirit to whispers from the unseen.

Mediumship is not just the ability to speak with those who have passed on; it is a bridge between realms, a tender communion with souls who still have messages to share, love to give, and healing to offer. It is rooted in love, never fear. In presence, never performance. The medium becomes a vessel—a clear channel through which spirit speaks, reminding us that there is no true separation, only transformation.

Divine guidance is the quiet, powerful knowing that flows when we open ourselves to the wisdom of something greater: our higher self, guides, ancestors, angels, Source. It can arrive as a gentle nudge, a vivid vision, a feeling that bypasses logic but lands like truth in the body. It’s a conversation with the Divine, available to all who listen deeply.

Together, mediumship and divine guidance offer connection, clarity, and comfort. They remind us that we are not alone. That we are deeply loved. That Spirit is always near—waiting patiently, lovingly, for us to turn inward and remember.
